Improve your communication! This is the objective of a new project launched today, October 7th, 2016 at the Catholic University Lyon.
An innovative formula of cooperation between university students and local organizations was designed by the University Lumière Lyon 2 /Institute of Communication (ICOM) and RESACOOP, a network supporting the actors of international cooperation based in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
It is a practical exercise aiming at encouraging students pursuing communication studies to use their theoretical knowledge in order to find practical and feasible solutions for the local and regional organisations concerning the development of their own communication strategy, tips for organizing a press conference, tips for organizing an event, designing a logo, improving the web-page/Facebook page, etc.
Designed as a platform for students to get a chance to put theory into practice, this is also an opportunity for local organisations to get voluntary help and support developing a communication strategy adjusted to their own needs and requirements.
Interested organizations had the chance to meet the students and to briefly present their structure (history, mission, values, communication) and their needs. Afterwards, working groups of 3-4 students will work closely with one of the local organizations, helping them improve their communications.
IREX Europe Deputy Director Flora Graioni spoke to students and IREX Europe is ready to meet its ’support team’ with fresh and creative ideas that would better reflect our work!
